The Symbol Splash game is a perennial favourite in my studio. I love it because I included 4 different levels so it works for multi-level students.
In this video, you’ll also be able to hear some background music going on. I wanted to include this clip so that you could get a peak at what it’s like when I have several students at the studio for their lessons.
It involves spinning lots of plates, but all three students here get fantastic theory work and review, tech time and time at the piano with me. It may sound chaotic but it works!

What are quick clips?
Colourful Keys Quick Clips are all about giving you a taste of what my lessons are actually like – in action.
I certainly don’t claim to be an expert, and I don’t have all the answers. I just know how much seeing real teaching with real students has helped me to grow and improve as a teacher.
Let me know what you think!
