Letter Dice Set

Description

This special set of 7 dice shows all of the notes in the musical alphabet. Each dice has the natural, sharp and flat version of the note (e.g. F, F sharp and F flat). This means you can use them to create scales, chords or any other pattern on the piano.

These dice come as a set of 7 in a simple cardboard box. They are lightweight and easy to transport as the dice are wood, not resin.

Ideas for using these dice:

• Ask students to create a certain scale, chord or other pattern by arranging the dice
• Roll randomly and use this as a starting point for improvisation or composition
• Roll all of them for beginner students and get them to find those keys on the piano
• Roll 2 of the dice and have students figure out the interval between them
